Join the storytellers of Grayhaven for an evening of haunting Civil War tales and ghostly fun. October 26th, 2019 5:30 – 9:00 pm
Your journey begins with a vintage barrel tasting in the historic 1700’s graveyard overlooking Grayhaven’s vineyards and continues with a walk down the haunted trail of the dark forest once traveled by Native Americans, soldiers and slaves.
Tales of history, mystery and hauntings by Grayhaven’s winemaker Chuck Peple, also known for his work as a Civil War historian. Live Jazz music by The Sweet Potatoes. For those who return from the forest, a roaring bonfire and hearty stew awaits.
*New this year: Author of Haunted Charlottesville and Surrounding Counties, Susan Schwartz, will give an talk on her experiences researching and writing about Virginia ghost stories 6:15 pm & 7:15 pm
Tickets are $27 in Advance, $35 at the door and include wine tasting (for adults 21 and over) and food. Wines also available by-the-glass or bottle.
FAQ RE kids: This event is intended for adults but may be appropriate for mature teens (except the wine part of course).
